Upper cervical correction
One gentle correction at the top of the neck, made only when the exam finds a reason for it.
A correction is a light, precise adjustment of the upper neck. We make one, then you rest, and we recheck at your next visit before deciding about another.

What to expect
What to expect
What a visit includes
A recheck, a short talk and, if there is a reason, one correction.
The doctor explains the correction before making it
A short rest afterward
A note of what was done
How long and how often
A correction visit is short. Your doctor sets a plan after the exam and changes it as you go. We do not promise a number of visits, and some visits include no correction.
What we do not claim
We do not promise results, and results vary. We make no claims about conditions, and a correction is not a substitute for medical care.
Risks
Soreness afterward is common. Rare serious problems have been reported after neck adjustments, so your doctor explains the risks before any neck adjustment, and you can say no.
At the visit, with an itemized receipt. How fees work explains plans, self-pay and the Good Faith Estimate.
Questions about this visit
Is the correction forceful?
No. It is a light adjustment of the upper neck. We do not twist or crack the neck.
What should I do afterward?
Rest for a short while and tell your doctor how you feel at the next visit. Call us if something worries you.
