How fees work
Insurance we work with
We bill many health plans, including most PPO plans, for the parts of a visit a plan covers. A plan decides what it pays. Call us with your plan's name and we tell you whether we can bill it.
Most PPO plans
Many employer plans
If you pay yourself
You pay at the visit. Before care begins, your doctor tells you what the exam and each visit will cost, in writing if you ask.
Receipts for reimbursement
Ask for an itemized receipt (a superbill) at any visit. You can send it to your plan. A plan may reimburse part of it, and the plan decides.
An estimate in advance
If you do not use insurance, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate. Ask us, and we give you a written estimate in advance.
Your rights under the No Surprises ActChecking your benefits
Call your plan before your first visit and ask what it covers for chiropractic care and for imaging. Our billing coordinator can tell you which services we would bill. We cannot promise what a plan will pay.
What the first visit includes
Your first visit is a talk and an exam. Imaging is ordered only when it is medically necessary, and your doctor tells you why first. You pay for what the visit included.

Medicare and canceling
Medicare
Medicare covers only manual spinal manipulation. Exams, x-rays and other services are not covered.
If you cannot make a visit
Please call us as early as you can so another patient can use the time. Ask us about our cancellation policy.
Ask for your estimate
Our billing coordinator gives it in writing before the visit.
