First visit
What happens at your first visit
A talk, an exam and an explanation. You decide what happens next.
- 01
Step 1: Arrive and check in
Our patient coordinator greets you and shows you the room. We send you a link to our patient portal for forms; the form on this site never asks about your health.
- 02
Step 2: A talk with your doctor
Your history and what you hope care will do.
- 03
Step 3: The exam
A seated check of posture and head position, and hands-on checks of the upper neck. Imaging only when it is medically necessary, with the reason first.
- 04
Step 4: What we found
Your doctor explains the findings, whether upper cervical care fits you and what the next step could be.
- 05
Step 5: One correction, if you agree
If the exam shows a reason, your doctor explains one correction and makes it only with your agreement. Many first visits end with the exam and the explanation.
- 06
Step 6: Before you leave
You get an itemized receipt, and the front desk answers any question about paying.
Bring
What to bring
A government ID and your plan card
If you use a health plan, bring the card. If you do not, ask us for a Good Faith Estimate.
A list of your medicines
Bring the list to the visit. Please do not send it through the website form.
Earlier imaging reports
If another provider has already taken imaging of your neck, bring the report or ask them to send it.
Clothes you can move in
No change of clothes is needed. A loose collar helps.
Before you come
How long is the first visit?
Plan on a talk and an exam, and time to ask questions. Your doctor does not hurry the explanation.
Do I have to start care that day?
No. You can take what we found home and decide later.
Ready to book?
Send a message with a good time to call. Please keep health details for the visit.
